English Muffin Bread With Whole Wheat

Ингредиенты

  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 T sugar
  • 3 T butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 3 1/2 c. unsifted flour
  • 2 c. whole wheat
  • Some cornmeal
  • 1 c. hot water

Инструкции

  1. Warm lowfat milk. Stir in sugar, butter, salt and cool to luke warm. Place water in large warm bowl. Sprinkle yeast and stir till dissolved. Add in lowfat milk mix. Stir in whole wheat. Add in sufficient additional flour to make soft dough. Turn out onto lightly floured board. Knead 2 min. (May be sticky) Place in a greased bowl. Grease top of dough. Cover and let rise until double (about 1 hour). Punch down and divide in half. Shape loaves. Roll in cornmeal. Place in greased loaf pans and cover. Let rise till double. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and bake 25 min and remove from pans.
