Ингредиенты

  • 2 1/2 c. grnd pork
  • 1 c. grnd ham
  • 1/2 c. onions, finely minced
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/2 c. sweet pickles, finely minced
  • 1/2 c. green peas (thawed if using frzn)
  • 1 c. cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 x Large eggs, hard-cooked and cut into quarters
  • 4 x Vienna sausages, cut into halves

  1. In bowl, mix pork, ham, onions, raisins, pickles, peas and cheese thoroughly.
  2. Working with 1/2 of mix (if making 2 rolls), make a rectangular layer on a sheet of foil to create bottom of first roll.
  3. Place half the egg quarters in a line down the center of the roll.
  4. Top with sausage halves. Mound 1/4 more of pork mix over egg and sausage pcs.
  5. Roll up foil to create a log-shaped roll. Turn roll and wrap it in another sheet of foil, so which it is completely encased.
  6. Repeat with remaining ingredients to create second roll.
  7. Place rolls in top of a covered steamer and cook 45 min. Or possibly, remove from foil, place in loaf pan and bake, covered, in oven at 400 degrees for 1 hour.
