  • 5 tsp. active dry yeast
  • 1 tsp. white sugar
  • 2 c. hot water (110 degrees F/45 degrees c)
  • 6 c. bread flour
  • 2 tsp. salt

  1. Place 1/2 c. flour and 1/4 c. water in a coverable bowl; stir well. Cover and let sit at room temperature overnight.
  2. The next day, add in 1/2 c. flour and 1/4 c. water to the bowl. Cover and let sit at room temperature overnight.
  3. On the third day, add in 1/2 c. flour and 1/4 c. water to the bowl. Cover and let sit at room temperature overnight.
