- Set oven at 350 degrees. Peel apples, cut in half, core, and partially slice halves so which slices don't separate. Butter and then flour pie pan. Roll out dough in 1 envelope and line bottom of pan. Dab dough with butter. Put in apples to cover dough. Dot remaining butter over apples. Sprinkle with sugar (except 2 Tbsp.). Roll out second sheet of dough and cover and seal. Poke holes with fork. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake for 1 hour till golden.
