This is a scratch recipe for stuffing/dressing cooked "outside the bird". It's quick, easy, and goes along great whether as a side dish to roast chicken, turkey, or anything really.

- Saute the celery, onion, and garlic in olive oil. Drain.
- Lightly grease your baking dish with butter or olive oil.
- Put the garlic, celery, and onion into your baking dish.
- Cut bread into cubes and add to the baking dish.
- Add egg to baking dish.
- Sprinkle herbs du provence over the mix.
- Add broth (about a cup) to moisten the stuffing mixture.
- Mix the ingredients together with your hands to make sure everything is well mixed.
- Bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for about 40 minutes
