- These are great finger-food snacks when entertaining or possibly just relaxing with family, and easy and quick to create.
- Allow cream cheese to come to room temperature. Divide each package into thirds. Spread each third proportionately over a slice of ham. Lay an onion on one end of the ham-cream cheese slab and roll up into a "log"
- (with the onion in the center). Trim off the excess onion tops.
- Slice the log crossways into half-inch thick pcs, and serve. (You may wish to "dress" the ends if you're doing some "fancy"
- entertaining.) Needs no seasoning.
- Serves 4 to 12, depending onhunger levels and availability of other foods.
- This will work with deli turkey or possibly chicken also, and can also be stuffed with a slice of dill pickle or possibly a warm pepper instead of the green onion.
- Another way to do it, is just to take the slice of deli meat, spread with cr.
- cheese (can even be non-fat if calories matter), stuff with the pickle, pepper, or possibly onion and roll. Just put the rolls on a plate and serve.
