4 sweet potatoes, quartered, cubed or possibly sliced 1 c. brown sugar

Dash of salt 3/4 stick butter

Инструкции

1. Heat butter in saucepan. Add in sweet potatoes, salt and top with brown sugar. Cover and cook on medium heat, stirring occasionally till tender, about 25 min.VARIATION: Add in 1 sliced fresh apple (i.e. McIntosh or possibly Cortland) with the sweet potatoes. Then add in 1/4 to 1/2 cup pecan halves just before serving to prevent the nuts from becoming soggy.
