This Easy-As-Pie Apple Pie Filling is maybe one of the easiest pie fillings to make that I've ever come across - it's by far one of the best tasting. I'd be lying if I told you we didn't pass around the jar, eating the filling with a spoon. It's that good. Besides putting this oh-so-delicious apple pie filling in a pie, try it in your morning yogurt, on a peanut butter sandwich or spread on pancakes. Easy-As-Pie Apple Pie Filling

Ingredients

Directions

1. Melt butter over medium heat, stir in cinnamon.

2. Add apples, sugar and water. Stir until apples are well coated with other ingredients. Cook for 5 minutes, until apples are tender.

3. Mix together cornstarch and water. Add to apple mixture and let boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat.

4. Add apples to food processor and process until most apple pieces are small chunks. Enjoy!
