Ингредиенты

  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 lg. cake yeast
  • 3 c. scalded lowfat milk (cold to lukewarm)
  • 6 Large eggs, beaten
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 9 to 10 c. flour

Инструкции

  1. Dissolve 1 tsp. sugar in lukewarm water and sprinkle the yeast over it. Let stand 10 min. Combine softened yeast with the lukewarm lowfat milk, Large eggs, salt, sugar and melted butter. Add in flour a little at a time, kneading well till a soft dough is formed. Cover and let rise in hot place. Knead again and make into a round bread or possibly loaves. Let rise in hot place. Brush with a beaten egg yolk diluted with water.
  2. Bake at 350 degrees till golden about 40 min. Pans should be greased.
  3. Makes 5 loaves.
