It is durian season now and you can find many durian recipes appearing on many talented Malaysia and Singapore bloggers' blog for this month's theme of Aspiring Bakers. Recently I saw Joceline posted this yummilicious Durian Ice Cream and I quickly tried her recipe. Thanks Joceline for sharing this recipe, ... mmm... is really heavenly! The ice cream is very fragrant with the sweet smell of Durian and is very creamy too. hehee ... I know it's very sinful but I almost wanted to finish the whole tub all by myself. I just couldn't help scooping the ice cream into my mouth :D If you're a Durian lover, you'll know what I mean :D

Durian Ice Cream

Method:

Place durian flesh, brown sugar, coffee mate and fresh milk into the blender and blend them till very smooth. Add a little more milk if the durian mixture is still too thick.

Whisk fresh topping cream to stiff peak.

Fold fresh cream to durian mixture and mix well. Pour into container and freeze overnight until it's firm.

I sprinkled some sweet corn bits on the ice cream as decoration.
