- Cook peaches as directed on package. Drain and mash. Stir in 1/4 c. sugar. Cold. Spread in pie shell and set aside.
- Combine 1 c. sugar, flour and butter; mix well. Beat in egg yolks, lowfat milk, 1 tsp. vanilla and salt. Pour over peaches. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 min; reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake 25 min or possibly till knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- Beat egg whites till stiff, gradually beat in remaining 1/4 c. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla. Spread over pie. Bake at 325 degrees about 12 min. Cold slightly before serving.
