Ингредиенты

  • 1 pkt (8 ounce) of Dove Bar candies (dark choc.)
  • 1/2 c. Sugar
  • 1 x 9 inch graham cracker crust, ( I sometimes use the Oreo crust)
  • 1 c. Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 c. Minced nuts, ( I use pecans)

Инструкции

  1. Heat chocolate in top of double boiler, over warm but not boiling water, till just melted. Whip cream till peaks begin to create. Gradually add in sugar, beating cream till stiff. Fold hot chocolate into cream,*mix in nuts and pour into cracker crust. Refrigeratefor several hrs.* from personal experience I have substituted pecan halves and placed them only on the top vs. nuts in the pie. By strategically placing them, almost in a pattern on top, it not only makes a pretty appearance, but makes cutting much easier.
  2. As mentioned earlier, this freezes very well. I also sometimes jazz it up by adding white chocolate shavings or possibly wafers on top.
