This homemade Vanilla Double Green Matcha Tea Frozen Yogurt a healthier alternative to store-bought and is sugar-free.

That electric mixer I bought for myself as a birthday present is by far my favorite kitchen tool ever. Other than the ice cream maker attachment, that is. I took the plunge and purchased the attachment and immediately stored it into the back of my freezer. My second freezer. You know, the one we all have in our garage that hardly gets used. But boy am I glad I have it when I do need it though. And of course the mere fact that I can store my ice cream maker attachment in there is reason enough, don’t you think?

Anyway, as I was saying, I immediately stored it in the back of the freezer because the attachment has to be frozen for at least 15 hours before you can use it. But seriously, in 15 to 20 minutes later, you can have frozen yogurt too.

I used the green tea bags and opened them up to make this tea. But I guess you really should be using green tea powder to produce that incredibly intense green color. However, it’s rather expensive. So go ahead and use that method if you prefer. I am all for using what you have on hand. And you all know that I am the dangling modifier for all of my recipes.

Smooth, delicious and guilt-free. Now that’s what I am talking about.

2 cups Greek yogurt (I used Fage) ½ cup Swerve sweetener 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste 1 Tablespoon Double Green Matcha Tea 1 Tablespoon Half and Half

In a bowl, mix all the ingredients. Pour into your prepared ice cream maker and stir about 15 minutes Pour into a freezer container and freeze at least 45 minutes 3.2.2925
