- 3/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup Melted Butter
- 1/2 cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
- For Chocolate Dough
- 1 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
- 4 Tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 3/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/2 cup Melted Butter or Margarine
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch dissolved in 2 tbsp of water
- 1 tsp Vanilla Essence

%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20it%20was%20Sunday,%20my%20husband%20helped%20me%20with%20the%20cookies%20and%20also%20we%20played%20a%20little%20with%20the%20cookie%20dough.%20We%20made%20some%20different%20shaped%20cookies%20[not%20putting%20the%20pic%20here%20:)%20]%20and%20also%20carved%20each%20others%20initials%20on%20the%20cookie....%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know..I%20know..%20Cheesy%20Me%20:P%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20double%20layered%20big%20fat%20cookies%20turned%20out%20delicious%20and%20chewy!%20I%20didn't%20know%20coconut%20tastes%20this%20great%20with%20chocolate!%20Love%20it!!%20Sending%20these%20directly%20to%20Champa's%20Bake%20Off%20Event.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIngredients:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMethod:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreparing%20Coconut%20Dough%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20In%20a%20bowl,%20mix%20all%20the%20dry%20ingredients%20together.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20In%20a%20separate%20bowl,%20mix%20together%20the%20melted%20butter%20and%20sweetened%20condensed%20milk.%20Stir%20in%20the%20vanilla%20essence.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20Now%20make%20a%20well%20in%20the%20center%20of%20the%20dry%20ingredients%20and%20add%20the%20liquid%20mixture%20to%20it.%20Mix%20it%20well%20with%20a%20spatula%20until%20it%20comes%20together.%20It%20should%20come%20together%20as%20a%20sticky%20dough.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPreparing%20Chocolate%20Dough%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20In%20a%20bowl,%20add%20all%20purpose%20flour,%20salt,%20baking%20soda%20and%20cocoa%20powder.%20Mix%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20In%20a%20separate%20bowl,%20cream%20together%20the%20melted%20butter%20and%20sugar.%20Add%20the%20vanilla%20essence%20and%20dissolved%20corn%20starch%20and%20mix%20well.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20Add%20liquid%20ingredients%20to%20the%20dry%20ingredients%20while%20mixing%20with%20a%20spatula.%20It%20will%20come%20together%20as%20a%20dough.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMaking%20Cookies%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1.%20Pre-heat%20oven%20to%20350%20degree%20F%20and%20lightly%20grease%20a%20cookie%20sheet.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2.%20Now%20make%20small%20balls%20from%20the%20coconut%20as%20well%20as%20the%20chocolate%20dough.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3.%20Take%20one%20ball%20from%20each%20dough%20and%20bring%20them%20together.%20Light%20press%20them%20together%20in-between%20your%20palm.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E5.%20Arrange%20on%20the%20baking%20sheet%20and%20bake%20for%2015-18%20minutes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E6.%20Let%20the%20cookies%20cool%20on%20the%20baking%20sheet%20for%204-5%20minutes%20before%20removing%20and%20then%20let%20them%20cool%20completely%20on%20a%20wire%20rack.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E7.%20These%20store%20well%20in%20an%20airtight%20container.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EEnjoy!!%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
