.%20%20I%20get%20sort%20of%20depressed%20every%20fall%20about%20missing%20teaching%20and%20I%20might%20be%20panicking%20a%20bit%20about%20the%20start%20of%20my%20last%20year%20of%20school.%20%20So%20I%E2%80%99ve%20been%20eating%20only%20crap%20and%20lots%20of%20crap.%20%20Lots%20of%20crap%20because%20apparently%20crappy%20food%20isn%E2%80%99t%20all%20that%20filling.%20%20Do%20we%20think%20I%20said%20crap%20enough%20times%20for%20this%20post%20month?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eas%20I%20say%20%E2%80%93%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDon%E2%80%99t%20drink%20your%20calories.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%E2%80%99s%20okay%20to%20have%20a%20treat,%20but%20probably%20not%20more%20than%203%201%20a%20day.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESkipping%20breakfast%20might%20set%20you%20up%20to%20make%20bad%20choices%20the%20rest%20of%20the%20day.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESometimes%20you%20should%20eat%20fruits%20and%20veggies%20just%20for%20the%20nutrients,%20even%20if%20you%E2%80%99re%20not%20feeling%20them%20at%20the%20moment.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%E2%80%99s%20ok%20to%20feel%20hungry%20sometimes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eas%20I%20do%20%E2%80%93%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFriday%E2%80%99s%20%E2%80%9Cbreakfast%E2%80%9D%20was%20wasabi%20trail%20mix,%20~5%20oz%20worth%20in%20total.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20two%20pieces%20of%20the%20amazing%20sea%20salt%20caramel%20my%20parents%20brought%20from%20Canada.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELunch%20was%20a%20quick%20run%20to%20the%20co-op%20hot%20bar%20during%20work.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChicken%20salads%20and%20veggie%20salads.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20kale%20was%20the%20best%20(take%20note,%20Emily!)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20did%20another%20try%20at%20a%20caramel%20macchiato%20in%20the%20afternoon,%20this%20time%20at%20The%20Spot.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EDoes%20that%20look%20like%20an%20iced%20caramel%20macchiato?%20%20No.%20%20And%20it%20was%20disgusting%20anyway;%20there%20were%20at%20least%205%20inches%20of%20straight%20foam.%20%20I%20took%20three%20sips%20and%20dumped%20the%20rest%20down%20the%20sink.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20didn%E2%80%99t%20eat%20enough%20during%20the%20day%20and%20that%20is%20where%20the%20bad%20dinner%20decisions%20started.%20%20Adam%20had%20to%20pick%20me%20up%20from%20work%20so%20we%20could%20run%20errands%20across%20town%20that%20took%20forever,%20I%20started%20to%20have%20a%20tantrum,%20and%20somehow%20we%20ended%20up%20at%20Arby%E2%80%99s%20for%20small%20Jamocha%20shakes.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EUm,%20and%20also%20mozzarella%20sticks.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20hate%20mozzarella%20sticks.%20%20But%20these%20were%20actually%20pretty%20good.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%E2%80%99ll%20start%20Saturday%E2%80%99s%20recap%20by%20saying%20this%20%E2%80%93%20Friday%20was%20healthy%20in%20comparison.%20%20But%20at%20least%20I%20finally%20had%20a%20sweet%20coffee%20win.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20gave%20up%20on%20caramelmacchiatos%20and%20moved%20on%20to%20a%20tall%20white%20mocha%20coconut%20frappucinno.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20lunch%20at%20work%20I%20packed%20a%20plain%200%25%20Greek%20yogurt%20with%20a%20honey%20stick,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20a%20Fiber%20One%20chocolate%20chip%20cookie.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20also%20bought%20a%20Synergy%20Grape%20Chia%20Kombucha.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20on%20the%20way%20home%20I%20had%20this,%20because%20two%20milkshakes%20a%20day%20is%20totally%20normal%20and%20healthy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESeriously%20though,%20this%20was%20actually%20a%20good%20decision%20because%20it%20was%20outstanding.%20%20This%20sign%20has%20been%20calling%20to%20me%20for%20days%20%E2%80%93%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E%E2%80%9CEmmmmmmily.%20%20%E2%80%98Greek%20iced%20coffee%20milkshaaaaaake.%E2%80%99%20%20You%E2%80%99re%20not%20even%20sure%20what%20that%20means%20but%20you%20need%20it.%E2%80%9D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBut%20I%20still%20didn%E2%80%99t%20eat%20any%20real%20food%20and%20I%20ended%20up%20eating%20half%20of%20this%20candy%20bar%20while%20we%20were%20on%20a%20never-ending%20trip%20to%20Target.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20did%20eat%20a%20real%20food%20dinner,%20but%20it%20is%20dark%20and%20stormy%20(honestly%20it%20is,%20I%E2%80%99m%20not%20trying%20to%20be%20cute)%20and%20my%20pictures%20were%20disgusting.%20%20Go%20ahead%20and%20try%20to%20imagine%20a%20plate%20of%20chicken%20nuggets%20and%20baby%20carrots.%20%20I%E2%80%99m%20also%2090%25%20sure%20that%20you%20should%20imagine%20some%20popcorn%20in%20the%20near%20future%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWho%E2%80%99s%20up%20for%20fruits%20and%20veggies%20on%20*Monday?%20%20Me!%20%20(*Note%20%E2%80%93%20I%20would%20say%20tomorrow%20but%20tomorrow%20my%20in-laws%20are%20coming%20to%20take%20us%20out%20for%20bbq%20for%20my%20belated%20birthday%20lunch%20and%20lets%20be%20real.)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELike%20Loading...%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ERelated%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
