- 2/3 c. Sugar
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/3 c. Shortening
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2 c. Flour
- 1 Tbsp. Baking pwdr
- 3/4 c. Cornmeal
- 1 1/3 c. Lowfat milk

- Combine sugar, salt, shortening and vanilla and mix 5 minutes. Add in Large eggs one at a time and beat 3 minutes. Mix flour, baking pwdr, and cornmeal. Add in half of flour mix to sugar mix. Add in half of lowfat milk to flour and sugar mix and mix. Add in remainder of lowfat milk and flour mix and beat to blend. Cook at 400 for 20 minutes.
