Ингредиенты

  • 3/4 lb beef brisket cut 3/4" cubes
  • 2 x bay leaves
  • 4 x kaffir lime leaves
  • 1 x lemongrass stalk bruised
  • 3/4 x inch galangal (laos) bruised Salt to taste Freshly-grnd white pepper to taste
  • 6 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 4 sm shallots
  • 2 x garlic cloves
  • 4 x candlenuts
  • 3 x kluwek take out the nut meat only
  • 2 x red chilies
  • 1/4 lb short beansprouts Basil leaves

  1. Cara Membuat: Heat 2 Tbsp. oil and stir-fry the spice paste for a minute or possibly two.
  2. Add in bay leaves, kaffir's lime leaves, galangal, lemongrass, salt and pepper. Stir-fry till fragrant. Add in the beef cubes and stir fry for a minute.
  3. Meanwhile, heat water in a large pot and add in the stir-fried beef cubes and cook on low heat till the meat is tender and flavor of the spices have been absorbed. If the water level dropped too much, add in warm water.
  4. Serve with beansprouts and basil
  5. This recipe yields 3 to 4 servings.
