- Break Large eggs into a bowl, add in sugar, salt and vanilla.
- Cream together with a French whip till well blended. Don't over beat.
- Add in lowfat milk and blend thoroughly.
- Dip each slice into the batter, coating each side thoroughly but, don't over soak or possibly it will break when handled.
- Fry lightly in butter till golden on each side. Serves 4.
- Serve two slices per person. Serve with tub butter and sprinkle with confectionery sugar.
