- Cut the rind from the oranges and lemons(being careful to remove no white pith with the rind) and chop it.
- Cut up the pulp.
- Place it in a preserving pan with the rind and 1 pint water.
- Boil gently for about 30 min, test carefully.
- Cook unitl the pulp and rind are tender.
- Add in sacharine.
- Add in the gelating dissolved in a little of the warm syrup.
- Remove from heat.
- Bottle while still warm.
- Cover at once.
- NOTES :NOTE: Don't MAKE LARGE QUNATITIES AS THIS Won't KEEP UNLESS YOU STERILISE.
