Ингредиенты

  • 20 lrg fresh mushrooms
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine
  • 1/4 c. finely minced red pepper
  • 1/2 c. heavy cream
  • 1/3 c. crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. cooked rice
  • 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
  • 1/8 tsp grnd white pepper Fresh basil, minced, for garnish

Инструкции

  1. Clean mushrooms with damp paper towel.
  2. Remove mushroom stems; finely chop stems and set aside.
  3. Saute/fry mushroom caps in butter in skillet till almost tender; drain on papertowels.
  4. Saute/fry mushroom stems and red pepper in skillet.
  5. Add in cream; bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and add in cheese; cook till melted.
  7. Stir in rice, basil, and pepper; cook till thoroughly heated.
  8. Spoon rice mix into mushroom caps.
  9. Place mushroom caps in greased shallow baking pan.
  10. Cover and bake at 350 degrees 10 min or possibly till tender.
  11. Drain on paper towels.
  12. Garnish stuffed mushrooms with basil.
  13. Makes 20 appetizers.
