  • 1 c. minced dates
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 c. water
  • 1/2 c. shortening
  • 5 teaspoon Sweet N Low
  • 2 beaten Large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon lemon flavoring
  • 1 teaspoon soda
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. quick oatmeal

  1. Combine dates, raisins and water in a saucepan. Boil 3 min. Cold. In a bowl combine all ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls on cookie sheet, flatten and bake at 350 degrees.
