- Line jelly roll pan (15x10x1 inch) with waxed paper. Separate Large eggs into 2 large mixing bowls. Beat egg whites till stiff. Beat egg yolks with same beater till thick gradually adding sugar.
- Mix in combined baking pwdr, wheat germ and nuts, then fold into beaten egg whites. Spread into jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 min.
- Remove from oven and cover with dampened cloth. Refrigeratein refrigerator. Turn cake out onto the cloth. Remove wax paper. Beat cream-gradually add in 3 Tbsp. sugar then vanilla and beat till stiff. Spread on cake and roll gently. Refrigeratein refrigerator or possibly freezer till serving time. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
