- Soft boil the Large eggs (3 min).
- Carefully peel shell from Large eggs. Dry well and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Cut pastry into 4 equal squares large sufficient to completely enclose egg. Wrap each egg in pastry and squeeze together to seal. Trim loose edges.
- Coat in beaten egg and roll in breadcrumbs.
- Deep-fry in warm oil and serve.
