Ингредиенты

  • 1/2 x Toor dal
  • 1/4 c. Yellow moong dal
  • 1/4 c. Masoor dal
  • 1 x Onion grated
  • 2 x Green chillies sliced
  • 1/4 tsp Ginger grated
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Coriander finely minced
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Red chilli pwdr
  • 3 Tbsp. Butter, (3 to 4) Salt

Инструкции

  1. Mix and wash dals well. Soak for 30 min.
  2. Pressure cook until soft but not overcooked. (Approx. 3 whistles)
  3. Mash a little with the back of a spoon, while warm.
  4. Heat butter in a deep pan.
  5. Add in seeds, allow to splutter.
  6. Add in onion, ginger and green chillies.
  7. Stir fry until soft, add in masalas (red chillies and salt) and dals, mix well.
  8. Bring to a boil. Simmer for 3-4 min.
  9. Garnish with minced coriander and lemon juice.
  10. Serve warm with rices, rotis, etc.
  11. Making time: 30 min (excluding soaking & pressure cooking time)
  12. Makes: 3-4 servings
