Ингредиенты

  • 1 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 1/4 c. evaporated lowfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 Packages yeast
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 c. clarified butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar, additional
  • 3 1/2 c. flour, additional

Инструкции

  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in lukewarm water, add in to evaporated lowfat milk. Add in 2 1/2 c. flour, mixing well. Let rise till doubled, about 50 min, then add in egg yolks, salt, butter and sugar. Add in additional 3 1/2 c. flour gradually. Don't over knead. Let rise again till double. Cut into mounds with large spoon and place on floured board. Roll into smooth balls and place on buttered cookie sheets. Let rise for third time, about 40 min. Make indentation into each mound and fill with filling of choice (see below) or possibly flatten for cottage cheese or possibly sausage, then complete baking as directed.
