Custard Bread Pudding With Whiskey

Ингредиенты

  • 3 c. white bread, 1" cubes
  • 1 quart. light cream
  • 7 med. Large eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • Healthy pinch nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

Инструкции

  1. Crack Large eggs and mix them till smooth. Heat light cream till hot, then pour cream into large bowl. Mix Large eggs, sugar, vanilla, nutmeg and cinnamon together and add in to cream. In 9"x11" pan, spread cubed bread proportionately, pour the cream and egg mix over bread. Submerge bread to prevent over browning. Bake for 50 min in a water bath in 350 degree oven or possibly till toothpick comes out clean.
  2. SAUCE: Heat butter in tall pan, while whipping melted butter add in sugar slowly till blended smoothly. Add in the whiskey slowly while whipping till smooth.
