- Preheat oven to 400F. In a large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking pwdr and salt. Mix well. Cut butter into flour mix. Stir in currants and orange peel. In a small bowl, whisk together egg and yogurt. Add in to flour mix, stirring quickly with a fork till dough leaves side of bowl.
- Drop rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 12 to 15 min or possibly till golden brown. Remove to a wire rack.
- Immediately brush or possibly drizzle honey on tops of scones.
