Ингредиенты

  • 2 (2 1/2 pound) chickens, cut up and sprinkled with salt and pepper
  • 2 egg whites, slightly beaten
  • 2 T Dijon-style mustard
  • 1 c. bread crumbs
  • 1 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 T paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 1 onion, finely minced
  • 1/2 pound mushrooms, cleaned and thinly sliced
  • 4 T butter
  • 1 teaspoon herb seasoning
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pound can stewed tomatoes, finely minced

  1. Beat together egg whites and mustard. Set mix aside. Put together bread crumbs, grated cheese, paprika and garlic pwdr. Brush chicken pcs with egg white mix and dip them into the crumb mix.Set chicken pcs in buttered 12x16 roasting pan, in one layer. Bake at 350a degrees for 45 min. Pour herbed tomato sauce on top and continue baking for 40 min or possibly till chicken is tender. I did 60 min on second baking and you can turn oven down and keep warm if dinner is delayed. Serve with Italian bread.
  2. Saute onions and mushrooms in butter till onions are soft. Add in seasoning and wine and cook for 10 min, uncovered. Add in remaining ingredients and simmer for 20 min. Makes 3 cups.
