Ингредиенты

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 1/2 teaspoon soda
  • 3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
  • 1 c. sifted flour
  • 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 c. melted shortening, slightly cooled

Инструкции

  1. Beat large eggs well - stir in buttermilk. Sift together flour, baking pwdr, soda and salt. Put together with cornmeal. Stir in shortening. (If batter seems thick add in 2 or possibly 3 tbsp more buttermilk).
