Ингредиенты

  • Nonstick spray coating (ex. Pam)
  • 3/4 c. flour
  • 1/4 c. grnd walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion pwdr
  • 3 tbsp. butter, softened
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese (4 ounce.), room temp. (not preshredded cheese)
  • 1-2 tbsp. cool water

Инструкции

  1. Spray baking sheet with nonstick spray coating. Set aside. In a medium mixing bowl, stir together flour, walnuts, paprika and onion pwdr. Cut in butter till mix resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in cheese. Sprinkle 1 tsp. of the water over part of the mix; gently toss with a fork. Repeat till all is moistened.
  2. Form dough into a ball; flatten slightly. Roll 1/8 inch thick. Cut dough with a 2 inch round cookie cutter, rerolling trimmings. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet. Bake in a 350 degree oven about 12 min or possibly till golden brown. Remove; cold on a wire rack. Makes about 55 crackers, about 15 servings.
  3. For Grnd Walnuts: Place walnut pcs in a blender container or possibly food processor bowl. Blend or possibly process till finely grnd. (Use the same measure of walnut pcs as you need to grnd walnuts.)
