Ингредиенты

  • 2 c. cream
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 2 1/2 tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 c. sifted light brown sugar

Инструкции

  1. Heat cream in double boiler. Beat egg yolks adding granulated sugar gradually. Remove cream from heat and pour over egg mix very slowly. Add in vanilla. Pour into a 1 1/2 qt casserole. Place in pan of warm water and bake uncovered at 325 degrees, about 45 to 50 min, or possibly till set. When custard is set, sprinkle with the sifted brown sugar. Place under broiler for a minute or possibly so till sugar melts. Chill. This custard should be served very cool.
