Рецепт Creamy Mushroom Gravy
This gravy is incredible You can do so many things with it. You can change the wine to red, marsala or just about anything, you can add other veggies or even make it vegetarian. It’s delicious. Next time I might make this and double the mushrooms then serve it over roasted chicken and potatoes. Yum!
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 small cans of mushrooms (drained)
- 1 tablespoon dried onion
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
Directions:
Heat the butter in a large frying pan over medium heat . Add the mushrooms and onions and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the mushrooms are tender.
Reduce the heat to medium, sprinkle in the flour, and stir to coat the mushrooms.
Cook, stirring occasionally, until the flour is lightly toasted Add the wine and stir.
Cook until the wine is completely reduced, about 30 seconds. Pour in the broth or stock and whisk until smooth.
Bring to a boil and cook, stirring occasionally, until the gravy has thickened and coats the back of a spoon, about 2 minutes.
