Cream of Sweetcorn Soup Recipe

Ingredients:

Method:

1. Heat butter in a pan over low flame.

2. Saute the onions and potatoes for 3 minutes.

3. Add flour, milk and stir well.

4. Bring to a boil.

5. Add half of the sweetcorn, bay leaf, salt and pepper powder.

6. Cover the pan with a lid and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes.

7. Remove and discard the bay leaf.

8. Keep aside to cool.

9. Transfer to a blender and puree until smooth.

10. Pour it into the pan and add the remaining sweetcorns.

11. Add cream and mix well.

12. Garnish with bread croutons.

13. Serve at once.
