- In a food processor, combine shortening, cream cheese, and fructose; mix till creamy in texture. Add in the egg substitute and water; mix thoroughly.
- Sift flour, baking pwdr, and salt (if you like) together and add in to creamed mix; blend well. Shape into a roll about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and chill overnight.
- Cut into 1 1/2-inch slices and place on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 min or possibly till the tops are golden. Remove cookies from the oven, and let them cold on racks.
- This recipe yields 15 servings.
- Serving size: 2 cookies.
