- 2 Tbsp. Pimiento, minced
- 9 Tbsp. Flour
- 1 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 dsh White pepper
- 1 dsh Paprika
- 3 c. Lowfat milk
- 3 med Egg yolks, beaten
- 1 1/2 tsp Dry mustard
- 1/2 c. Capers
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 6 Tbsp. Mayonnaise
- 3 lb Crab

- Isn't this a wonderful old fashioned and much loved Maryland recipe for Crab Imperial. Once in awhile it's just worth the extra calories. Terry
- About an hour before serving:1. Saute/fry green pepper and pimiento in butter 3 to 5 min.
- 2. Make the white sauce. Heat the over to 350F.
- 3. Add in rest of ingredients to white sauce except 1/2 of the mayonnaise.
- 4. Turn crabmeat mix into well-greased 2 1/2 qt casserole. Spread top with the remaining 3 Tbsp. of mayonnaise. Bake about 30 min.
