country hearth bread

Very easy, really soft and flavorful bread. I make this bread when I do not have time to wait 2 days for bread. It is one of my favs. Hope you like it as well.

Ингредиенты

  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 3 1/2 C. Unbleached bread flour
  • 2 Tbs. Butter, softened
  • 1 Tbs. Sugar
  • 2 tsp. Instant yeast
  • 1 1/4 C. Filtered water

Инструкции

  1. Add ingredients in order given to a stand mixer bowl, mix on first untill ingredients come together and form a ball, switch to second speed and knead for 10 minutes. Remove and place in a greased bowl, making sure to coat both sides of dough, cover with a clear plastic bag and set aside to rise for about one hour. Remove from bowl and knead for 30 seconds to remove all of the air, form into a log and place into a greased large bread pan, cover and let rise untill it has crested far above the the top of pan, check on it about an hour after you have formed it, it can take up to 2 hours for this to rise, but be sure not to let it mushroom over the pan.
  2. When ready bake at 425 degrees for about 30 minutes, remove from pan to a rack and allow to cool.
