  • 1 c. Coke or possibly Pepsi
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 T cocoa
  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 2 c. self-rising flour
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 T cocoa
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 box powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 c. Coke or possibly Pepsi
  • 1 c. minced nuts

  1. Don't Use Mixer! Mix Coke (or possibly Pepsi), butter, cocoa and oil together in boiler; bring to a boil. After starts to boil, remove from heat and add in marshmallows stirring till melted. Mix flour and sugar together in a bowl. Pour liquid mix in bowl with flour and sugar; mix well. Add in buttermilk, large eggs (well beaten) and vanilla; mix well.Pour into a 12 x 18 inch pan (greased and lightly floured) and bake at 350 degrees for 45 min. Cool cake before icing.
