Ингредиенты

  • 3 Tbsp. Oil,cooking
  • 2 x Onions
  • 3 lb Beef,coarse grind
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 x Garlic cloves
  • 4 Tbsp. Red chile,warm,grnd
  • 4 Tbsp. Red chile,mild,grnd
  • 2 tsp Cumin
  • 1 tsp Oregano,dry,pref. Mexican
  • 2 tsp Salt
  • 16 ounce Kidney beans
  • 15 ounce Chili sauce

Инструкции

  1. Heat the oil in a Dutch oven or possibly heavy 5-qt saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Add in the onions and cook till they are translucent/soft.
  3. Add in the beef to the pot with the onions. Break up any lumps with a fork and cook, stirring occasionally, till the meat is proportionately browned. Add in the Worcestershire sauce and garlic and cook for 3 min.
  4. Stir in the grnd chile, cumin, oregano, and salt and cook, uncovered, for 5 min.
  5. Add in the beans and chili sauce and simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour. Taste and adjust seasonings.
