%20in%20just%20a%20few%20short%20weeks%20now.%20%20%20Here%20in%20the%20UK%20it%20is%20celebrated%20on%20the%20fourth%20Sunday%20after%20Lent%20and%20so%20this%20year%20it%20is%20on%20the%2030th%20of%20March.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20was%20recently%20sent%20a%20package%20of%20baking%20goodies%20from%20the%20people%20at%20Dr%20Oetker%20to%20help%20me%20do%20something%20special%20for%20this%20holiday.%20%20%20I%20love%20to%20bake%20and%20I%20admit,%20I%20love%20Dr%20Oetker%20baking%20goodies!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey%20have%20a%20beautiful%20line%20of%20ingredients%20to%20help%20the%20modern%20baker%20make%20the%20prettiest%20and%20tastiest%20biscuits,%20cakes%20and%20other%20baked%20goodies,%20including%20everything%20from%20the%20basic%20ingredients%20such%20as%20Baking%20Powder%20and%20Baking%20Soda%20.%20.%20.%20%20to%20candles,%20%20flavourings,%20icing%20gels,%20chocolate%20chips,%20cake%20sprinkles%20and%20sparkles,%20rice%20paper%20decorations%20.%20.%20.%20in%20short%20just%20about%20everything%20under%20the%20sun.%20%20%20And%20I%20have%20to%20confess%20that%20anything%20I%20have%20ever%20used%20of%20theirs%20has%20been%20exceptional.%20%20%20I%20haven't%20had%20anything%20yet%20that%20I%20didn't%20like%20or%20use,%20or%20that%20didn't%20live%20up%20to%20or%20exceed%20my%20expectations.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20quite%20simply%20have%20not%20had%20the%20time%20to%20use%20all%20the%20things%20that%20they%20sent%20me%20this%20time,%20but%20I%20did%20make%20good%20use%20of%20some%20of%20the%20decorations,%20such%20as%20these%20tasty%20milk%20and%20white%20chocolate%20hearts.%20%20I%20used%20them%20to%20decorate%20little%20bite%20sized%20classic%20Shortbread%20biscuits%20which%20I%20had%20iced%20with%20a%20vanilla%20buttercream%20icing.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20chocolate%20hearts%20come%20in%20their%20own%20little%20plastic%20mold,%20which%20I%20thought%20was%20really%20great%20as%20it%20helped%20to%20keep%20them%20from%20breaking.%20%20They%20taste%20good%20too,%20and%20don't%20they%20look%20sweet%20decorating%20these%20biscuits?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20edible%20rice%20wafer%20daisies%20are%20such%20pretty%20little%20posies%20and%20looked%20beautiful%20on%20some%20of%20the%20biscuits.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAs%20did%20these%20edible%20wafer%20butterflies.%20%20%20They%20look%20like%20they%20are%20ready%20to%20take%20flight%20don't%20they?%20%20%20They%20just%20pop%20right%20out%20and%20onto%20whatever%20you%20are%20wanting%20to%20put%20them%20on%20with%20ease.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%20of%20course%20these%20little%20candy%20butterflies%20are%20just%20so%20sweet%20and%20colourful,%20and%20dainty%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAltogether%20they%20made%20for%20a%20very%20pretty%20tray%20of%20cookies%20I%20think.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
