Cinnamon-Raisin Bread Pudding

Ингредиенты

  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 quart. whole lowfat milk or possibly half-and-half
  • 5 whole large eggs
  • 6 slices cinnamon and raisins swirl bread (I use Birkholms Brand)

  1. Butter sides and bottom of baking dish. Tear bread in small pcs. Put in baking dish. Mix sugar, vanilla and lowfat milk together and bring to boiling point.In a bowl beat large eggs and gradually add in lowfat milk mix while stirring. Strain mix and take out all egg lumps. Pour mix over bread. Let set 5 min. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 min. Serve warm or possibly cold with whipped cream and/or fruit.
