Ингредиенты

  • 1 loaf ciabatta bread
  • 1 1/4 c. tomato sauce
  • 1/4 c. tomato paste
  • 2 x garlic cloves crushed
  • 1/2 tsp dry oregano
  • 24 x basil leaves
  • 16 x water-packed sun-dry tomatoes sliced thin strips
  • 1 c. shredded mozzarella - (4 ounce) (or possibly soy mozzarella)

Инструкции

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Cut bread into 4 slices and slice each in half crosswise.
  2. In medium bowl, mix tomato sauce, tomato paste, garlic and oregano. Spread tomato sauce on bread slices and top each slice with 3 basil leaves, sliced sun-dry tomatoes and about 1/4 c. cheese.
  3. Bake pizzas till cheese is melted and bubbly and bread looks crispy around edges, 7 to 10 min. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with dash of oregano and serve warm.
  4. This recipe yields 4 servings.
  5. Comments: Serve with an arugula salad topped with grape tomatoes. End the meal with biscotti and fresh fruit.
