.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20event%20was%20pretty%20amazing%20%E2%80%93%20hundreds%20and%20hundreds%20of%20stalls%20selling%20all%20sorts%20of%20products,%20mostly%20by%20small%20independent%20sellers,%20which%20was%20really%20nice%20to%20see!%20There%20were%20also%20plenty%20of%20free%20samples,%20which%20is%20always%20a%20plus%20(who%20am%20I%20kidding,%20it%E2%80%99s%20the%20main%20selling%20point).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20all%20took%20place%20in%20the%20London%20Olympia%20which,%20if%20you%20don%E2%80%99t%20know,%20is%20enormous.%20Literally%20just%20one%20absolutely%20huge%20room.%20What%20you%20can%20see%20in%20this%20photo%20is%20probably%20about%20a%20third%20of%20the%20downstairs%20%E2%80%93%20plus%20there%20were%20stalls%20all%20around%20the%20mezzanine%20too!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIt%20took%20hours%20to%20get%20round%20every%20stall,%20but%20luckily%20my%20husband%20was%20very%20accommodating%20and%20didn%E2%80%99t%20complain%20too%20much%20(though%20being%20handed%20free%20samples%20of%20gin%20at%20every%20turn%20probably%20helped).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhile%20I%20was%20at%20the%20Good%20Food%20Show,%20I%20made%20sure%20to%20stop%20by%20and%20say%20hi%20to%20the%20Barber%E2%80%99s%20guys,%20since%20they%20were%20the%20reason%20I%20was%20there!%20They%E2%80%99ve%20been%20making%20cheese%20at%20their%20farm%20in%20Somerset%20since%201833,%20and%20although%20the%20farm%20is%20now%20run%20by%20the%20sixth%20generation%20of%20the%20family,%20they%20still%20use%20traditional%20cheese-making%20methods%20alongside%20more%20modern%20methods.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20World%20Cheese%20Awards%20had%20taken%20place%20the%20day%20before,%20and%20a%20Barber%E2%80%99s%20cheddar%20had%20placed%20third.%20That%E2%80%99s%20right%20%E2%80%93%20the%20third%20best%20cheese%20in%20the%20world%20(and%20the%20very%20best%20of%20all%20the%20cheddars!).%20Third%20best,%20out%20of%20all%20of%20these:%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(and%20that%E2%80%99s%20only%20about%20half%20of%20the%20cheeses%20that%20were%20judged!%20If%20only%20my%20phone%20camera%20had%20smell-o-vision%E2%80%A6)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20wasn%E2%80%99t%20able%20to%20try%20the%20exact%20cheese%20that%20placed%20third%20(it%20had%20been%20sitting%20out%20for%20a%20couple%20of%20days!),%20but%20I%20did%20take%20home%20a%20huge%20slab%20of%20Barber%E2%80%99s%201833%20vintage%20cheddar,%20which%20is%20matured%20for%20at%20least%2024%20months%20to%20make%20it%20extra%20rich.%20If%20you%20like%20mature%20cheddar,%20you%20have%20to%20try%20this%20cheese%20%E2%80%93%20it%E2%80%99s%20so%20tangy,%20and%20crumbles%20at%20your%20fingertips!%20Seriously%20melt-in-the-mouth,%20and%20just%20perfect%20for%20a%20recipe%20like%20these%20chutney%20and%20cheese%20spirals.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWhen%20your%20recipe%20only%20has%203%20ingredients,%20it%E2%80%99s%20pretty%20important%20to%20use%20good%20quality%20ones%E2%80%A6%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThese%20chutney%20and%20cheese%20spirals%20couldn%E2%80%99t%20be%20quicker%20to%20make.%20Spread%20your%20chutney%20on%20the%20puff%20pastry%20(or%20use%20pizza%20dough%20if%20you%20prefer),%20sprinkle%20with%20cheese,%20and%20roll.%20Do%20them%20all%20as%20one%20big%20log,%20then%20just%20slice%20it%20into%20chunks%20%E2%80%93%20it%E2%80%99s%20so%20simple!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThey%20don%E2%80%99t%20look%20like%20the%20prettiest%20things%20ever%20before%20you%20bake%20them%E2%80%A6%20but%20then,%20they%20don%E2%80%99t%20look%20that%20pretty%20when%20they%20come%20out%20of%20the%20oven%20either.%20But%20it%E2%80%99s%20okay,%20because%20the%20flavour%20makes%20up%20for%20it!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20probably%20went%20a%20little%20heavy%20on%20the%20chutney%20(some%20of%20them%20were%20more%20like%20splurges%20than%20spirals),%20but%20in%20the%20end%20it%20turned%20out%20to%20be%20a%20blessing%20in%20disguise%20%E2%80%93%20have%20you%20ever%20tried%20chutney%20that%E2%80%99s%20splurged%20out%20onto%20a%20baking%20tray%20and%20begun%20to%20caramelise?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOh%20my.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOf%20course,%20you%20can%20use%20whatever%20chutney%20you%20fancy%20%E2%80%93%20I%20used%20a%20mixed%20fruit%20chutney%20that%E2%80%99s%20pretty%20much%20just%20an%20apple%20chutney%20with%20sultanas%20in%20it.%20Apples%20and%20cheddar%20are%20a%20match%20made%20in%20heaven,%20so%20it%20worked%20really%20well!%20I%20can%E2%80%99t%20quite%20tell%20whether%20these%20chutney%20and%20cheese%20spirals%20feel%20more%20sweet%20or%20more%20savoury,%20but%20serve%20them%20as%20a%20canap%C3%A9%20and%20you%E2%80%99ll%20never%20need%20to%20decide.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELay%20out%20a%20sheet%20of%20baking%20paper,%20and%20flour%20it%20lightly.%20Roll%20out%20the%20puff%20pastry%20into%20a%20rectangle%20on%20the%20floured%20paper%20(I%20used%20a%20pre-rolled%20sheet,%20but%20still%20rolled%20it%20out%20a%20little%20thinner).%20Spread%20the%20chutney%20across%20the%20pastry,%20and%20sprinkle%20over%20most%20of%20the%20cheese%20-%20just%20hold%20back%20a%20couple%20of%20tablespoons.%20Using%20the%20baking%20paper%20to%20help,%20tightly%20roll%20the%20pastry,
