Ингредиенты

  • 1 lb hard chorizo diced
  • 1 x white onion diced
  • 1/2 c. minced carrot - (1 large carrot)
  • 1/2 c. minced celery
  • 1 Tbsp. minced garlic
  • 2 c. crumbled corn bread
  • 1/2 c. chicken stock
  • 1/4 c. minced cilantro

Инструкции

  1. Cook the chorizo in a skillet over medium heat till the fat has been rendered, about 5 min.
  2. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Add in the onion, carrots, celery, and garlic to the chorizo and cook till the vegetables have carmelized, about 10 min.
  4. Add in the crumbled corn bread, chicken stock, and cilantro. Make sure which the stuffing itself is not to dry but at the same time not to wet.
  5. Place the stuffing into a buttered casserole and bake in the oven till heated through and lightly browned, about 20 min.
  6. This recipe yields 4 to 6 servings.
