Chocolate Raspberry Cranberry Cake
Ingredients
1 (18-1/4 oz) pkg
Devils Food Cake Mix
- 1 c
- water
- 1/3 c
- Raspberry Liqueur
- 1/3 c
- oil
- 3
- eggs
- 1 c
- fresh or frozen cranberries, thawed and chopped
- 1/2 c
- macadamia nuts, chopped
- 1 (16 oz) can
- Chocolate Frosting
- 3 oz
- cream cheese, soften
1/2-2.5 oz pkg.
Raspberry creme candies, for decoration
Cooking Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour three 8-in round baking pans
In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, water, raspberry liqueur, oil, and eggs. Beat on low speed for 30 seconds, beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Stir in chopped cranberries and macadamia nuts. Pour into prepared pans.
Bake at 350 for 30-35 mins. or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool for 5 mins before removing from pans to wire rack to cool completely.
For Frosting: In a large bowl beat can of Chocolate frosting and soften cream cheese until blended. Spread between layers and over top and sides of cake. Decorate top with Raspberry Candies
