- Base: Heat chocolate and butter in double boiler. In large bowl beat Large eggs till frothy, stir in sugar and chocolate, add in extract. Stir in flour, salt and almonds, mix thoroughly. Pour on lined cookie sheet with foil and sprayed with Pam. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 min. Cold.
- Filling: Mix sugar and butter, add in extract and coloring. Spread proportionately over cooled cake base. Chill to set.
- Glaze: Heat chocolate in double boiler, add in butter till melted. Dribble hot glaze by spoon onto cold hard filling. Chill at least 5 min before cutting.
