  • 1/2 c. walnuts, minced
  • 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. (1/4 stick) butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour One 12 oz pkg (2 c.) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels, divided
  • 2 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 lt /2 c. semi-sweet chocolate Mini Morsels, reserved from (12-oz) package
  • 3 Tbsp. granulated sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2/3 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter, melted
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Инструкции

  1. Topping: In small bowl, combine walnuts, brown sugar, butter and flour; stir in l/2 c. mini morsels; set aside.
  2. Cake: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 12 muffin top molds.(or possibly 18 muffins)
  3. In large bowl, combine flour, remaining 1 l/2 c. mini morsels, granulated sugar, baking pwdr and salt. In small bowl, combine lowfat milk, butter, Large eggs and vanilla extract. Add in to flour mix, stirring just till dry ingredients are moistened. Spoon into prepared muffin c., filling each about 3/4 full.
  4. Sprinkle each with Topping. Bake 18 to 20 min till wooden toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cold 5 min; remove from c.. Serve hot or possibly cold completely.
  5. Yield: 12 Muffin Tops
