- Cream butter; add in 3/4 c. sugar and blend. Add in vanilla chocolate and salt and mix well. Beat egg whites till stiff, but not dry. Add in 3/4 c. sugar, 2 Tbsp. at a time, beating after each addition till blended.
- Continue beating till mix stands in peaks. Add in to chocolate mix, folding only sufficient to blend.
- Makes sufficient frosting to cover top of one 9-inch layer and sides of two 9-inch layers.
