  • 1 c. nuts - minced
  • 1 can sweetened flaked coconut - 3.5 ounce
  • 1 box German Chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 x 8 ounce. pkg. cream cheese
  • 1 lb pwdr sugar

Инструкции

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13 cake pan. Cover the bottom of the pan with the nuts and coconut. Prepare cake mix according to directions on the package. Pour the cake batter on top of the nuts and coconut. Heat margarine in a bowl, add in the cream cheese and pwdr sugar. Stir to blend. Spoon over unbaked batter. Bake for 40 to 42 min.
  2. Note: you can't test for doneness with a cake tester, as the cake will appear stick even when it is done. The icing sinks into the batter as it bakes, forming a white ribbon inside.
