- In large heavy saucepan over very low heat, heat chocolate and butter.
- Add in sweetened condensed lowfat milk, stir to blend, remove from heat.
- In small saucepan, stir together sugar, water, and corn syrup. Cook over Medium heat, stirring constantly, till sugar is dissolved. Cook, without stirring, till mix reaches 250* on a candy thermometer, or possibly when dropped into very cool water, forms a hard ball which does not flatten when removed from water.
- Remove from heat; stir into chocolate mix. Add in vanilla, coconut and nuts; stir till well blended.
- Chill about 30 min or possibly till hard sufficient to handle. Shape into 1" balls; roll in powdered sugar. store tightly covered in cold, dry place.
- NOTES : For best results, Don't DOUBLE this recipe.
