- 1 cup 100% pumpkin (Not the pumpkin pie mix)
- 1/2 cup butter or 1 stick or 8 tablespoons, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- Filling
- 1/2 of an 8 ounce bar cream cheese or 4 ounces, softened
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup white granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup nuts, pecans or walnuts, Optional
- Frosting for Bread
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened (the other half of your cream cheese used above in the filling)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 stick or 4 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg (Optional)
- 1/2 cup nuts, pecans or walnuts, Optional
